Silva Endorses
Bob Simmons for
Walnut Creek City Council
Councilmember Cindy Silva has endorsed Bob Simmons for one of the open positions on the Walnut Creek City Council.
“I worked with Bob Simmons on the Walnut Creek Planning Commission and greatly respect his balanced approach to our community’s issues,” Silva said.

Silva & Rainey Elected
to City Council
Walnut Creek voters re-elected incumbent Councilwoman Sue Rainey and elected Planning Commissioner Cindy Silva to two open City Council seats.
At their campaign celebrations, Rainey and Silva said the election results prove Walnut Creek voters are happy with the direction the city is headed.
"I think it really reflects the beliefs of the city and how positive everybody feels about Walnut Creek," Silva said. "I will be the junior member of the team and I look forward to working with them and learning as fast as I can."
